Earlier this year, the California Travel section of About.com opened a poll for readers to weigh-in on their favorite nude beaches in the state. Here are the Top 10 on their list as well as our recommendations for other things to do in those areas. Location: The area’s unofficial (and illegal) nude beach, 2-mile-long Black’s lies between La Jolla Shores and Torrey Pines State Beach, at the base of steep, 300-foot-high cliffs.

Location: This state park just south of San Clemente and across the border in San Diego County offers serenity, seclusion and serious surfing. To get there from Los Angeles, take the 5 Freeway south through San Clemente.
